Experience:
I am currently in my eighth year of teaching and my fifth year at South. I have taught middle school, adults, and now high school. I have been fortunate enough to have taught English as a Second Language as well as English Literature.

- M.S. Educational Leadership - Administrator's license - Indiana University, June 2006
Fun Facts:
I grew up in Oak Park, IL (a suburb of Chicago) and came to Bloomington to attend IU when I was 17. Because I'm a city girl, this was the first time I came across a cow in a field. In the past, I had only ever see a cow in a petting zoo! I met my husband, Jason, after my sophomore year in college and we were married on Oct. 18, 1997. We remained in Bloomington after college and have made this our home. We had our first child in February 2007. He is really cute so far - if I do say so myself!
We have two dogs - Max and Caesar. They are Weimaraners and are so much fun! Max is almost 11 years old and Caesar just turned 3 years old. I love to travel and have been to several different countries throughout my life. I have been fortunate enough to visit Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia (before it split into two different countries), Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and England. One of my sisters just moved to Switzerland, so I hope to visit there soon!
I also love to read and have a link to some of my most recent reads below. For fun, I go walking with my dogs, bike ride, shop, cook, and spend time with family and friends.
