Writing Reflections Notebook
Do you ever get home from school and wonder what you did first period? Thats an understandable problem because we are literally "on the go" all day.
To think seriously. To express thoughts and ideas being considered.
In this class, the last five minutes of every class period will be spent writing in your writing reflections notebook. This will not be a journal or a diary. This will not be a place to write down your homework.
What this will be is a chance to simply reflect on what we have been doing in class for the past 60 minutes.
The world were living in is fast paced. Everything needs to be done now. People drive, talk on their cell phones, listen to the radio, and look in the mirror all at the same time.
What we will be doing in our reflections notebook is simply slowing down. While writing in your notebook you will have time to think about
By taking five minutes to jot down ideas from class you will actually help yourself remember more. When you study for a test in here, you will be able to reread your entries and see what you wrote down as being important and worthy of reflection.
The basics:
-You need to write for the whole five minutes. Not for three minutes and then spend two minutes "getting ready" to leave!
-If not in class, write the date and write "absent"
-Two points per entrythat adds up quickly!
