10-2 Position Paper

Question:

Are sports a positive force for high school students? Do sports help or hinder students?

In this paper you are writing your opinion, but also supporting your opinion with examples from Stotan, Hoop Dreams, Brian’s Song, and/or the articles we have read.

Requirements:

(introduction, three paragraphs in body, conclusion)

Must contain an attention grabber (quote, story, question, definition, etc.)

Conclusion 4 points

Works Cited Page— 10 points—all points or none

Correct Form 3 points—all points or none

Rough draft handed in with final draft 2 points
