The Indiana CORE 40 Diploma

Education, business, labor and government leaders of the state of Indiana have agreed on new education expectations for Indiana high school students. These expectations are called the Indiana CORE 40 -- a single, flexible high school curriculum which, except for elective courses, is based upon a single set of agreed upon competencies.

Students should meet the CORE 40 standard:
-- to be considered for admission to an Indiana four-year college or university.
-- to ensure success in one- and two-year college and technical training programs.
