CHARACTER SHEET AND AUDITION INFORMATION

  • Auditions are after school in room A101 on Tuesday, January 15 and Wednesday, January 16. Choose one of the two days to audition. Callbacks are Friday, January 18.
  • The cast of the show will contain both principal roles and a chorus. The chorus will contain Munchkins, Flying Monkeys, Animals, etc. Being cast in the chorus does not mean you will not have a speaking part.
  • The principal roles may be double-cast. Because there are six performances, double-cast actors will each perform three times.
  • For roles with two names listed next to each other, actors will play one part in Kansas and a corresponding (but different) part in Oz. For example, the actor cast as Uncle Henry will also play the Wizard.
  • Actors auditioning for Dorothy will be asked to sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." You need not provide accompaniment. No other characters sing in this production.
  • Poppy dancers need to have some capacity for dancing and may or may not be members of the chorus.
