442.925 +

224.64 - (coming soon)

The K9SOU/W9EAR Repeater is being tested on the air from time to time on 442.925 +. Give it a listen. It's just on a magnet mount antenna in Mr. Rapp's room at the moment. Bloomington ARC has graciously donated the funds to purchase the repeater antenna for the top of the school. We will add 224.64 - and a HF/VHF/UHF remote base to the repeater as soon as we get the equipment.

Below is a list of the equipment we used to build the repeater:

Motorola COR receiver TLE1270 (on loan from EARS)
Icom IC-3200A dual band transceiver for the transmitter (on loan from EARS)
Link Communications RLC-3 repeater controller (on loan from EARS)
Link Communications DVR-1 (on loan from EARS)
Motorola UHF duplexers (on loan from EARS)
Comet CX-333 triband antenna & triplexer (donated by BARC)

Things we need:

220 MHz transmitter, 220 MHz receiver, 220 MHz duplexers. If you can donate toward or donate any of these items, please let us know!!!!
