:: Science Olympiad Team 14th at Nationals - The South Science Olympiad competed at the National Tournament in Augusta, Georgia May 15-16. The team place 14th in the nation competing against 60 top teams (most who were state champions) from across the United States. The team had students in two events medal and half of our events placed in the top third of all the teams. This is the highest that South has achieved at Nationals in the last 10 years. More information is available at the Science Olympiad website including final scores and event winners
:: Panther Preview [7/13] Panther Preview is the first step for incoming freshmen to experience Bloomington High School South. We invite you to download the registration form and send it into the school to reserve your space at Panther Preview and get a jump start on high school. Panther Preview will take place at BHSS on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 1-5 PM. Registration due date is July 13th. If you have any questions feel free to contact the school at 812-330-7714.
:: 2010 Senior Pictures - Class of 2010: You should have received information from Prestige Photography regarding senior pictures. An appointment time here at South is included. Prestige is the official yearbook photographer and you must have your pictures taken to be included in the 2010 edition of the Gothic. If you can not have your picture taken this summer, additional appointments will be offered in the evenings this fall or you may go to the studio in Greenwood any time.
:: State Championship t-shirts - Don't miss your chance to purchase one of the South Boys Basketball 2009 State Championship t-shirts! Shirts are available in the bookstore in all sizes. Youth S, M, L, Adult S, M, L, XL - $10 each. Adult XXL and XXXL - $12 each.
